Creative Conservation

We specialise in the creative reuse of buildings and work in sensitive areas that include delicate landscapes, urban centres and historic buildings of outstanding national importance.

For over 50 years we have advocated for the constructive reuse and pragmatic conservation of existing buildings. Our expertise includes balancing sensitive and adaptive conservation with energy efficiency improvements.

We have been privileged to be able to breath new life and opportunities into so many historically significant places. We bring together conservation excellence and creative design to unlock opportunities to sustain and enhance historic and buildings. Working closely with their custodians we bring experience and an understanding of the significance and value of the historic built environment into all that we do.

Our conservation services are tailored to match the needs of each project and include the repair, alteration and reuse of historic and listed buildings in both the public and private sectors. Working on renowned and internationally recognised buildings our task is to preserve their character, adapt them to new standards of energy efficiency but also provide them with a new life in a contemporary context.
