Decades of Experience in the Education Sector

We create, refurbish and maintain schools and colleges of all types and sizes, to provide inclusive, inspiring and sustainable places to learn.

Our Approach

Central to our design philosophy is a need to provide for the physical, emotional, spiritual and intellectual education of our children, whilst remaining flexible to future change in pedagogy and technology.

Inclusive Design

We ensure that our learning environments are inclusive to all, drawing on our experience of working with many different client bodies, as well as staff, pupils, governors, and local communities.

With over 50 years' experience of designing private and state schools, we believe in providing every child and young person with the best learning environment possible, in order to build their confidence and self esteem. We work with schools, local authorities and communities to improve the outcomes for all children and young people, including those with special educational needs (SEN) and disabilities.

We have a detailed understanding of UK specifications and take time to fully understand the individual needs of each client. Sustainability is at the core of our work in education; we ensure that schools and colleges are designed to meet the latest DfE specification, delivering Net Zero Carbon and Passivhaus schools and colleges.

We have experience of collaborating with a wide-ranging client base, including academy trusts, colleges, Local Authorities, diocese bodies, the Department for Education (DfE) and national and local contractors.

Schools Design

We rejuvenate educational spaces, both new and aged, across a diverse range of schools, ensuring they evolve into environments that are not only inspiring and inclusive but also sustainable for future generations. Our commitment lies in the transformation of educational facilities into vibrant hubs of learning. By injecting new life into aging institutions and thoughtfully designing new ones, we aim to craft spaces that transform traditional boundaries and foster a sense of inspiration. The emphasis on inclusivity ensures that these learning environments cater to diverse needs, promoting an educational setting where every individual feels valued and engaged.

Sustainability is at the core of our approach, acknowledging the responsibility we bear towards the environment and future communities. Through innovative design and environmentally conscious practices, we strive to create schools that not only meet the immediate needs of learners but also stand as beacons of sustainable development.
